PVC Marketing is supporting the HBO Max launch with a Tentpole campaign in the US driving awareness and acquisition across in-app, onsite, outbound, and paid channels. Post-launch, evergreen marketing and content-launch strategies will sustain and promote discoverability for HBO Max across marketing channels.
What Happened?
On 12/6, the US Prime Video Channels (PVC) business launched HBO Max, a Tier 1 subscription service from Warner Brothers Discovery, Inc. (WBD). HBO Max is an expanded offering from the previous HBO channel on PVC (removed from PVC in Sept. 2021). In addition to the classic HBO content catalog featuring series like Game of Thrones, Succession, and The Sopranos, HBO Max offers a broad range of content from popular brands within the WBD portfolio, including DC Comics, Turner Classic Movies, and Cartoon Network, as well as iconic shows like Sesame Street, Friends, and South Park. At launch the HBO Max catalog holds more than 28K VOD titles and 8 live linear feeds.
